Ranga Bee & CPL Productions to make a series of entertainment comedy shorts for Sky

Sky has commissioned a brand-new series of entertainment comedy shorts from Ranga Bee Productions in collaboration with CPL Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company. The two indies have entered into a collaboration and co-production arrangement to create their first joint commission: “Romesh Presents…”.

The series of shorts (10x15) will showcase some of Britain’s best up and coming comedians as selected by Romesh Ranganathan. The comedians featuring in the 10 shorts are:

3. Rachel Parris, Cariad Lloyd and Graham Dickson

4. Amelia Dimoldenberg

5. Kiri Pritchard-McLean

6. Rosie Jones

7. Darren Harriott

8. Luke McQueen

9. London Hughes

10. Colin Hoult as Anna Mann

The shorts themselves will be wide-ranging and tailored to the individual comedians. The format will vary from studio clip shows to comedic entertainment documentaries as well as everything in between.

The series will be made by Ranga Bee Productions in collaboration with CPL Productions.

Ranga Bees’ Romesh Ranganathan and Benjamin Green will executive produce alongside CPL Productions’ Danielle Lux and Murray Boland. This is the second collaboration between the two indies as CPL co-produced series 2 of Ranga Bee’s scripted comedy “The Reluctant Landlord” for Sky One airing later this year.
