Our leadership | Umberto Angelucci

Angelucci graduated in Mathematics and has been serving as Chief Technology Officer at Sky Italia since 2008. Prior to overseeing the operations of the three technical departments - Broadcasting, Technology and Information Technology - he served as Head of Information Technology since 2003, when he joined Sky Italia.

Angelucci started his career working in Information Technology and Communications at Lombardia Informatica, before joining Fininvest Servizi in 1985, where he worked as Project Manager overseeing the development of information services in several business areas, including TV.

In 1989 he left the company and joined Ernst & Young Consultants as Managing and IT Consultant, becoming Partner in 1997 in charge of the development of big clients and of the Energy and Consumer Product areas, focusing on process re-engineering, on the development of information systems and on change management.

In 2000 he came back to the company as the Head of Information Technology and Customer Service to follow the start-up of the new mobile network operator, BLU S.p.A.
