Scripted

Sky Max, Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness, Sky Comedy and Sky Sci-Fi showcase bold, brilliant storytelling, from global hits to fresh new voices. We’re looking for standout series, whether finished or at pre-buy stage, across returning or limited runs. Think legal, crime, medical and comedy dramas, high-concept epics, evergreen or new sci-fi, smart scripted comedies and standout stand-up. We’re after shows with quality, ambition and originality—so we don’t consider second-run titles or anything with low production values.

Unscripted

Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature, Sky Crime, Sky Arts and Challenge bring you bold stories, big moments and real insight. We’re after feature-length programmes and series with standout production values and a fresh point of view. That could be finished titles or pre-buys. We look for premiere documentaries that show a new side to familiar stories, celebrate greats in art, architecture, literature and more, or tie into the cultural calendar—like Black History Month or International Women’s Day. We also pick up concerts from world-class artists, filmed plays and musicals, cinematic wildlife documentaries, standout true crime stories, and high-volume UK game show formats. We don’t go for science, travel or lifestyle docs, or titles that feel subjective or lack integrity—and for Sky Nature, it’s got to feature animals.

Kids

Sky Kids is home to brilliant shows for children aged one to ten—fun, thoughtful, and full of imagination. We’re after high-quality live action, smart educational content, anime, and standout animation—whether it’s a big-name favourite or something brand new. We pick up both finished titles and pre-buys, but we’re not looking for anything aimed at older kids or with low production values. If it’s premium, playful and made for curious young minds, we want to see it.

Film

Sky Cinema is where great films live—from the biggest Hollywood hits to brilliant indies. Across genres like family, animation, action, thriller, comedy and sci-fi, we’re always looking for premium, feature-length movies that feel worth watching and rewatching. We’re after titles with strong production values, co-viewing appeal, and standout talent—whether that’s household names, fresh faces or rising stars behind the scenes. We’re proud to support British film and also pick up a small number of high-profile foreign-language titles. Our focus is on exclusive first-run films and evergreen favourites that keep Sky Cinema and Movies24 feeling fresh. We don’t consider shorts or documentaries, and avoid anything with low production values or limited appeal.

From big Hollywood blockbusters to cult classics and hit series, there’s something for everyone. We’re after brilliant films and shows people will want to watch—and come back to—across every genre. That includes crowd-pleasers, hidden gems, and standout foreign-language titles with real rewatch value. We steer clear of anything with low production values, one-off deals or content that doesn’t feel worth owning.
