50 Premier League games still to come on Sky Sports

Wednesday 21 January 2015

Sky Sports will be the place to watch all the stories as the Barclays Premier League moves into its crucial final period with 50 games between now and the end of the season.

Sky Sports has added a further seven live games in March, and across the final eight rounds of fixtures there will be at least three games a weekend as the action comes thick and fast.

Liverpool welcomes Manchester United to Anfield on Sunday 22 March, a pivotal encounter for both sides as Brendan Rodgers seeks to reverse the 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford in December.

Earlier in the month reigning champions Manchester City travel the short distance to Turf Moor for Saturday Night Football, facing a Burnley side that came from two goals down to claim a point at the Etihad in December.

The following day Chelsea face a Southampton team that has proved with recent wins over Arsenal and Manchester United an intent to fight for a place in the top four. Immediately afterwards, Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur as the battle for the top positions heats up.

Sky Sports head of football, Gary Hughes said: “Players always refer to March and April as the months when teams make their move, and when they do that Sky Sports will have it covered.

“With 50 games still to come this season on Sky Sports we know that the defining moments will be on our screens. We have some fantastic fixtures in the Merseyside derby and Manchester United going to Anfield to name just two. There are many more to come before the end of the season.”

Sky Sports viewers are then set for 30 more live games in the final two months of the season. As the season reaches its climax, Sky Sports will be the home of more than three quarters of all live televised fixtures over the remainder of the season.
