BAFTA Screenwriters’ Lecture Series on Sky Arts

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) today announced that it will be working with Sky Arts 1 for the very first time, broadcasting the second BAFTA and BFI Screenwriters' Lecture Series every Thursday for seven weeks, starting Thursday 2nd August 8pm with William Nicholson (Gladiator, Shadowlands). This second year of the acclaimed Screenwriters’ Lecture Series, in association with The JJ Charitable Trust, saw Nicholson, Moira Buffini (Tamara Drewe), John Logan (The Aviator), Guillermo Arriaga (Amores Perros), Frank Cottrell Boyce (24 Hour Party People), Paul Laverty (My Name Is Joe) and Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich) share their insights on the art of screenwriting.
