Mel Giedroyc has today been named as the host of Sky 1’s new entertainment show, Relatively Clever, produced by John Stanley Productions. International distribution for the series will be handled by Sky Vision.

The quiz tournament pits families against each other in knockout rounds. It’s a test of intelligence and trivia but family dynamics will also be under the spotlight as teams of mums, dads, children and grandparents come together to be crowned Relatively Clever.

Adam MacDonald, Sky 1 Channel Director, commented; “We’re delighted that Mel is joining the channel as the face of Relatively Clever. It’s an intelligent, entertaining quiz - and a family affair, with plenty of opportunity for Sky 1 customers to play along at home.”

Mel Giedroyc commented; “I'm very excited to be working on new Sky 1 quiz show, Relatively Clever. Everyone loves a quiz and it’ll be great to see the families working together, putting their general knowledge and unashamed shrewdness to the test as they battle it out for the Relatively Clever trophy.”

Relatively Clever has been commissioned by Sky’s, Adam MacDonald, as part of the priority investment into the channel’s 8pm slot. The seven part series will air on the channel in 2015.
