Robson Green, Martin Clunes & Dougray Scott join the cast of Strike Back series 4

PHILIP WINCHESTER & SULLIVAN STAPLETON CONTINUE TO LEAD THE CAST, RHONA MITRA AND MICHELLE LUKES ALSO RETURN

Today Sky welcomes the much loved UK actors ROBSON GREEN, MARTIN CLUNES and DOUGRAY SCOTT to the cast of action packed drama Strike Back series 4. Production is already underway, shooting in South Africa and Hungary, for the 10 x 60 third series of HBO/Cinemax drama, which is set to air on Sky 1 HD this summer.

GREEN (Mount Pleasant, Soldier Soldier) will play Lt Colonel Philip Locke, a commanding officer in chief will join the Section 20 team. CLUNES (Doc Martin, Men Behaving Badly) plays Sebastian Gray, a former MI6 agent turned independent intelligence officer working in Beirut. SCOTT (Mission Impossible II, Desperate Housewives) will star as James Leatherby, a wealthy rogue operative and self-d war junkie.  

Returning to lead the cast once again are PHILIP WINCHESTER (Crusoe, Camelot) and SULLIVAN STAPLETON (set to star in the forthcoming 300: Rise of An Empire) who reprise their on screen partnership as counterterrorism operatives Sgt. Michael Stonebridge and Sgt. Damien Scott.

Also returning to the series is RHONA MITRA (Underworld: Rise of the Licans) as Maj. Rachel Dalton, MICHELLE LUKES (Alexander) as Sgt. Julia Richmond and LIAM GARRIGAN (Pillars of the Earth) as Sgt. Liam Baxter.

Behind the camera there are the returning are directors Michael J. Bassett (who also serves as co-executive producer), Julian Holmes and Paul Wilmshurst, and returning writers are Simon Burke, James Dormer, John Simpson and Richard Zajdlic.

In the upcoming series, Section 20 will pursue a deadly terrorist network from Colombia to Beirut to Europe where they uncover plots reaching to the West.

The executive producer is Andy Harries; series producer is Michael Casey; co-executive producers are Michael J. Bassett, James Dormer and Tim Vaughan; producers are Selwyn Roberts and Chris Thompson; co-producer is Bill Shepard. Huw Kennair-Jones is the commissioning editor.

The commission of Strike Back 4 further demonstrates Sky’s commitment to invest in original content. By 2014, Sky will have invested £600 million a year in British programmes across its portfolio of channels.
