Returning to the channel in 2014 are a host of award-winning and critically acclaimed US series:

GIRLS SEASON 3
January 2014

Lena Dunham
returns for the third, highly anticipated season of her Emmy®- and Golden Globe-winning comedy series GIRLS. Following the misadventures of a group of 20-something friends in NYC, the series centers on Hannah Horvath (Dunham) and her mess of anxieties, insecurities and uncertainty as she approaches her mid-20s. Over Season 3’s 12 episodes, the friendships between the girls are more volatile than ever, proving that female friendship is its own kind of romance.  As always, love, life, sex and death can all interrupt the circuitous path to adulthood – and will arrive when you're least prepared.  The cast also includes Allison Williams as Marnie, Zosia Mamet as Shoshanna, Jemima Kirke as Jessa, Adam Driver as Adam Sackler and Alex Karpovsky as Ray Ploshansky.

THE FOLLOWING SEASON 2
January 2014

Season two of the hit serial killer drama THE FOLLOWING will pick up a year after the events of the finale, with the FBI asking agents Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) and Mike Weston (Shawn Ashmore) to help them solve a new murder spree, which Lily (Connie Nielsen) is the lone survivor of. The new case and the individuals it puts the FBI in contact with leads Ryan to believe infamous murderer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) is still alive and has no plans of ending his reign of terror. New faces for the second season include Jessica Stroup (902010), who plays Ryan Hardy’s niece and fellow cop Max, and Sam Underwood (Homeland), who plays a complicated and dangerous young man who may or may not be a follower of Carroll.

NURSE JACKIE SEASON 5
January 2014

Golden Globe® and Emmy® winner Edie Falco returns as Jackie Peyton, the brilliant ER nurse with a penchant for painkillers and a marriage on the brink of divorce.  In the comedy drama’s new fifth season, Jackie is clean and back in the bustle of All Saints where a new trauma doctor (played by Morris Chestnut) and a sexy new resident (played by Betty Gilpin) shake things up.  Peter Facinelli and Emmy® winner Merritt Wever also star.

GAME OF THRONES SEASON 4
Spring 2014

After leaving viewers reeling following the tragic events of the last season, the multiple award-winning HBO drama GAME OF THRONES is back for its fourth season. Many of the series’ familiar faces will return including Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Jack Gleeson, Alfie Allen, Natalie Dormer, Gwendoline Christie and Charles Dance. A wealth of new talent will also join the cast, including Mark Gatiss, Joel Fry, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Indira Varma and Pedro Pascal, who will play Prince Oberyn Martell aka The Red Viper.

MAD MEN SEASON 7
Spring 2014

The final season of the multiple award-winning and critically adored drama series MAD MEN will be split into two seven-episode parts titled The Beginning and The End of an Era, with the first part airing in Spring 2014. Series creator and executive producer Matthew Weiner said: “We plan to take advantage of this chance to have a more elaborate story told in two parts, which can resonate a little bit longer in the minds of our audience. The writers, cast and other artists welcome this unique manner of ending this unique experience.”
