Sky Living HD announces new fashion series
Sky Living HD today announces the innovative and fashion forward series; Show Me Your Wardrobe, a new and unique brand partnership entertainment series from Indie ALASKA and make-up brand Collection. A collaborative deal brokered by Sky Media, Krempelwood, Mosquito Digital and Alaska, Show Me Your Wardrobe will air on the channel this autumn.
Show Me Your Wardrobe started life as a blog by fashion photographer Jackie Dixon showcasing what fashion insiders were wearing. An overnight success, with magazines from Vogue to Grazia picking up on the combination of fabulous access and stylish insights, Jackie and best pal, model/designer Zara Martin have now teamed up to bring this fashion show to life on the small screen for Sky Living HD.
Sky Living’s very own fashionistas, are taking the television cameras into the wardrobes of some of the world’s most well-known faces, to reveal their secrets, stories and tips, giving customers an exclusive look into the lives of their favourite celebrities. Each episode will focus on two famous wardrobes, with the stars revealing the very best and sometimes the very worst clothes and accessories in their closets.
Clothes, from favourite party dresses to slouchy PJ’s, always have an anecdotal story to go with them and often reflect of who we are or what we were. Investigating the wardrobes of high profile celebrities, Jackie and Zara will find out how their ‘date dress’ reflects their feelings on love and body shape, their ‘can’t throw out item’ reveals stories from the past, and their ‘most expensive’ item sheds light on the indulgences of the rich and famous.
Focusing on and substance, Jackie and Zara will pick 5 items per star, from ‘show me your biggest bargain’ and ‘show me your worst faux pas’ to ‘show me your sexiest…’ These items will be modelled by the celebs, before Jackie and Zara take to the road to show viewers how to get the A-list look at high street prices, accompanied with Collection’s new “work the colour” cosmetic range.
