Sky Movies releases Heart Strings following demand from fans

Christmas on Sky Movies has been in the news again this week. Not only do we have the premieres of Frozen  and The Lego Movie, but the song used in promo for Sky Movies Christmas - the exclusive home of festive favourites such as Home Alone and Elf - has proven so popular with customers that we’ve decided to release it on iTunes. We’re thrilled with the reaction to the channel, the song and the promo, which has received tens of thousands of views and shares. 

What you may not know is that the song itself was commissioned by our own in-house music team, SATV, who often work with new and unsigned artists to create specially commissioned music for Sky’s use. Heart Strings was pitched to the creative team who worked on our Christmas promo, who snapped it up, and we’re delighted with the end result.
