Sky Sports Living For Sport Community Games

Wednesday 24 April 2013

Sky Sports Living for Sport is a free UK wide initiative that uses sport stars and sport skills to improve the lives of thousands of 11-16 year olds across the UK. One way the initiative is reaching young people is through the Sky Sports Living for Sport Community Games, run in partnership with social enterprise SportInspired.

Today the Games are taking place in Hounslow, near to Sky Headquarters, where local students, sports clubs and Sky volunteers will work together using sport to motivate and inspire young people. Over 200 young people will take part in the day with eight different sports for them to get involved with. Our Sky volunteers will be helping students who’ve already participated in Sky Sports Living for Sport to use their skills leading local primary school students through the activities.
