Sky Sports reveals new Formula 1 documentary ahead of highly anticipated season

  • Two-part Sky Original documentary revisits the most dramatic F1 season ever

As the 2022 Formula 1 season fast approaches, Sky Sports is set to give racing fans exclusive insight into the most extraordinary rivalry in the sport’s recent history with a first-hand account from those who experienced it.

The documentary outlines the dramatic events of 2021 that culminated in Max Verstappen winning his maiden championship title. The Sky Original production Duel: Hamilton vs Verstappen features exclusive interviews from Verstappen himself, as well as breakdowns from the Sky Sports Formula 1 team who witnessed the drama unfold on the ground as seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton pushed the Dutchman all the way to the final race of the season.

The two-part series, which first airs on Sunday 6th March at 7pm on Sky Sports Main Event also includes interviews with the Team Principals of rival manufacturers Red Bull and Mercedes Christian Horner and Toto Wolff, as well as expert analysis from former Formula 1 world champions, F1 journalists and Sky Sports pundits.

From the amazing battles to the unbelievable finale and its controversial aftermath - this is the story of the most remarkable F1 season in recent memory.
