The Pistorius Trial - Coverage On Sky News
Special nightly review starts Monday 3rd March at 9.30pm and repeated at 11pm on Sky 2
London, Thursday 27th February: From Monday Sky News will be reporting live at the trial of Oscar Pistorius from Pretoria’s High Court in South Africa, on television and across all its digital products.
Jeremy Thompson will present throughout the day from Pretoria, interviewing a variety of guests including regular commentary from a South African lawyer and a forensic expert. Alex Crawford, Special Correspondent, Martin Brunt, Crime Correspondent and Emma Hurd, Foreign Correspondent will join Jeremy in Pretoria, with Alex reporting live from the courtroom.
During the trial a special nightly programme reviewing the day in court will run at 9.30pm. There will also be a weekly hour long programme that will be available on all platforms and On Demand from Sunday 9th March.
The event will also be covered extensively on Sky News’ digital products including exclusive curated content online, on mobile and on Sky News for iPad. Features will include a 3D layout of Pistorius’ apartment, a live feed from a stenographer, a Twitter stream from the correspondents covering the trial, extensive image galleries and an infographic on the South African legal system.
The live stream of the trial will also be available on the Sky News channel on YouTube.
