Sky News has a heritage for breaking news, eyewitness reporting and in-depth analysis, and has won the RTS News Channel of the Year award for six consecutive years.

We have over 800 journalists reporting from the UK and around the world. We were on the ground in Ukraine every day for the first year of the war and have been the first to witness and report on historic events. Including being the first news organisation inside the hospital wards in Bergamo, Italy – the epicentre of the worst Covid-19 outbreak in the world - and producing searing first person reports from the jungle hospital at the centre of Myanmar’s 'secret' civil war – the results of a month-long undercover mission embedded in Myanmar’s secretive resistance movement.

The World with Yalda Hakim will broadcast live Monday – Thursday at 9pm from the 22nd January on Sky News.
