Disney+ included in the Sky TV subscription from today, bringing customers more of the best entertainment in one place

Millions of Sky customers can enjoy Disney+ as part of their Sky TV subscription from today. Worth £5.99 a month, eligible new and existing customers will get easy access to Disney+ Standard with Ads or the same saving on Standard and Premium, bringing them a lifetime of great stories and entertainment.

The move follows February’s announcement of Sky’s new world-first line-up, bringing Disney+, HBO Max, Hayu and Netflix, alongside Sky TV, together in one single subscription and a simple, integrated experience. That’s over £20 worth of streaming apps included each month, together with brilliant Sky Originals and Exclusive shows like Under Salt Marsh, Heated Rivalry, and the much-anticipated Saturday Night Live UK.

New customers can get Sky, Disney+, Netflix, as well as HBO Max and Hayu (both coming soon) with Sky Ultimate TV from £24 a month, offering the best value in the market.

Unlock unmissable entertainment from Disney+ on Sky

From today, customers can watch a huge range of shows on Disney+, including the must-watch Rivals, Paradise, and FX’s The Bear, as well as blockbuster films like Disney’s Zootropolis 2 and Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Alongside these are some of Disney’s most loved animated stories, including Moana 2 and classics like Frozen. Together, the lineup spans Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu, FX, 20th Century Studios, and more.

Sky Stream and Sky Glass customers with Ultimate TV, Sky Q customers*, and Sky Essential TV customers with Sky Cinema can sign up in minutes. Simply use the “Get Disney+” voice command and follow the on-screen steps, or head to Sky.com

Sky customers with existing Disney+ subscriptions can move their current Standard with Ads, Standard or Premium plan to Sky saving £5.99 a month, which is over £70 a year, while keeping their profile and watch history. Customers can also choose to upgrade from Disney+ Standard with Ads to Standard or Premium, just paying the difference.

Sky Cinema customers will get a new Disney+ Cinema channel, a collection of the best movies from Disney+ to showcase the great content in the full Disney+ app experience. This is launching on EPG channel 305, giving access to even more great movies as part of their subscription, alongside hit films from Sky, Paramount+ and NBCUniversal. With around 50 titles at launch, it will blend beloved favourites from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, with new movies every week. Films coming soon will include Marvel Studios’ Iron Man, Deadpool and Wolverine, 20th Century Studios’ Death on the Nile, Alien: Romulus, Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Up.

There will also be a handpicked selection of Disney+ favourites on Sky’s linear channels, bringing some big hits straight to the TV guide, from gripping Star Wars series Andor  to critically acclaimed drama FX’s The Bear and three-part Original series, Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story. Titles will air across Sky Atlantic, Sky One and Sky Witness for eligible Sky customers and NOW Entertainment customers.

Find favourite shows in seconds with Sky OS

Disney+ content is seamlessly integrated into the Sky OS platform on Sky Stream and Sky Glass alongside Sky TV, including Sky Originals and Exclusives, and content from apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Apple TV, making it easy to discover new favourites and add shows straight to Playlist to enjoy later.

For the first time, Disney+ content will show up in Continue Watching, so viewers can quickly jump back into what they were watching. Whether it’s the next episode of Bluey or picking up a series where they left off the night before, customers can find where they’re up to easily from the Sky homepage. Everything integrates with Sky voice control too, so customers can search for shows across apps and control their TV with ease — just say, “Hello Sky, play Grey’s Anatomy” to get the next episode.

Disney+ shows and movies are also integrated within the Sky Q homepage for those customers, including in the Today’s Top Picks rail and Continue Watching, for a seamless experience.

Building on this, Sky TV customers will get HBO Max Basic with Ads included in their subscription from 26 March,  and Hayu in July, with a taster of top reality shows available later this month.
