Sky today announces John Bishop's Comedy Night at The Coliseum, a brand-new comedy entertainment series hosted by John Bishop, and produced by Drum Studios, coming to Sky and streaming service NOW in early 2027. 

Hosted by one of the UK's best-loved comedians, John Bishop, the new 3 x 44 series will feature a hand-picked line-up of established stars, breakthrough acts and emerging talent from across the comedy scene. 

John Bishop said: “There’s so much brilliant talent on the British comedy circuit at the moment, from the established names to the next generation coming through. I want this series to celebrate all of it and reflect what’s happening out there right now. I can’t wait to fill the London Coliseum with some of the best comedy the country has to offer."

Recorded in front of a live audience at the iconic London Coliseum in December 2026, John Bishop's Comedy Night at The Coliseum is a series destined for Sky in early 2027.

The announcement follows the successful launch of Saturday Night Live UK on Sky, which has already provided a platform for 12 emerging comedians and a 22-person strong writing room as it's become a critically acclaimed audience favourite. Sky continues to champion the comedy scene through over 30 stand-up specials over the last 3 years, including specials from SNL UK cast members Larry Dean, Paddy Young and Ania Magliano, plus established fan favourites like Rob Beckett, Harry Hill, Frank Skinner and many more. 

John Bishop's Comedy Night at The Coliseum is commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, Executive Director of Unscripted Originals at Sky and Jamie Morris, Managing Director, Programming at Sky for Cécile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios & Chief Content Officer for Sky. It is produced for Sky by DRUM Studios, part of Omnicom Media. The Showrunner is Cameron Banks, and the Director is Chris Howe. The Executive Producers for Drum Studios are Danny Carvalho and Andy Holland. The Executive Producers for Lola TV are John Bishop and Lisa Thomas.
