Thomas Henkel is appointed Executive Vice President Advertising, Distribution and Media at Sky Deutschland.
In this role, he is responsible for the development of an overarching strategy, business development, mergers & acquisitions, as well as partner channel management. Apart from the analysis and development of market potentials for all business areas, he coordinates major investment- and business development processes, leads strategic decision-making processes in cooperation with Sky UK and Sky Italy, and is responsible for all cross-divisional development projects. Furthermore, his department develops and implements new organizational and acquisition-related business approaches for Sky Deutschland.
Thomas Henkel joined Sky as Senior Vice President Strategy in 2013. Prior to that, he spent more than 10 years at Bertelsmann AG, working for various business segments (a.o. RTL Group, Gruner & Jahr), and he was a member of Global Media & Entertainment Practice at Booz Allen Hamilton for more than 7 years.
